Hidden deep within the hills lies Swift Hill Flower Patch — a protected town bound to an ancient system few fully understand.

 

Each year, the Flower begins to fade.

 

To restore it, a dangerous journey must be made beyond the safety of the hills and into the wilderness beyond. The task has never belonged to warriors or elders, but to the eldest children of the founding families — chosen generation after generation to leave home behind and complete the Quest.

 

For years, the system has held.

 

But something is changing.

 

An Elder once cast out from Swift Hill still searches for a way back into the world that rejected him. The Flower stripped him of all knowledge of its hidden ecosystem, leaving behind only obsession, bitterness, and a relentless need to reclaim what was taken. Beyond the hills, dangers long kept at bay are beginning to stir, as if sensing a weakness in the pattern that has protected the town for centuries.

 

As the next Quest approaches, the children of Swift Hill must step beyond the lantern light of home and into a world far larger — and far more treacherous — than anyone has prepared them for.
